I don’t really have a complex opinion on the nature and use of random tables other than they are some good shit. I will say, though, that too many of you GMs are pre-rolling those tables as part of prep, greedily keeping the joy of random results to yourself. Roll on those tables in front of your players! They’ll laugh at that shit too!

In lieu of a more in-depth opinion piece on the topic here is a random table that uses one of each of a standard set of dice:
